(a) Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has authorized 725 km long Bhatinda-Jammu-Srinagar Natural Gas Pipeline (BJSPL) to GSPL India Gasnet Limited (GIGL) which is developing the authorized pipeline project. PNGRB has informed that about 102 km long pipeline section from Jalandhar-Amritsar in Punjab as a part of BJSPL has been commissioned.
(b) At present, there are four LPG bottling plants including one in Leh with a total bottling capacity of 155 TMTPA in Jammu and Kashmir.
(c) & (d) Establishment of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations is the part of development of City Gas Distribution (CGD) Network and the same is carried out by the authorized entities based on techno-commercial viability and pipeline connectivity in the area. At present, PNGRB has not authorized any Geographical Areas (GAs) in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. At present, there are no CNG or H-CNG stations in Jammu and Kashmir.
