(a) whether the Government have declared `Deendar Anjuman` as an unlawful association;
(b) if so, the States where the said organisation is active;
(c) whether members of this organisation were arrested for indulging in unlawful activities in various States during 2002-03; and
(d) if so, the details in this regard?

(a) to (d): Yes, Sir. The Union Government have declared `Deendar Anjuman` as an unlawful association under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967. `Deendar Anjuman` is mainly active in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa. As per available information 117 persons have been arrested so far. Details regarding arrests made during 2002-03 have been sought from the States.
