Question : Students taken Higher Education

(a) whether the Government has taken cognizance of the fact that the students taken higher education at the cost of public funds are serving no good to country but reaping individual gains;
(b) if so, whether the Government is likely to make any such provision which mandates students receiving such education from a Government institution would have to serve the country at least 10-15 years after completing their studies in the country; and
(c) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (c) Higher Education play an extremely important role in promoting human as well as societal well-being. It significantly contributes towards sustainable livelihood and economic development of the nation.

Higher Education enables personal accomplishment and productive contribution to the society. It prepares students for more meaningful and satisfying lives and enable economic independence. Students passing from the public as well as private higher educational institutions are contributing in the development of the country.

There is no proposal for mandating students receiving education from Government institution to serve the country at least 10-15 years after completing their studies in the country.
