Question : RELAXATION IN CRZ REGULATIONS

(a) whether the Government has issued orders to relax the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) rule to the unauthorized buildings came up at Marine Drive at Cochin during the year 2000-2011;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and

(c) the steps taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) No order to relax the Coastal Regulation Zone Notification has been issued by the Government of India.

(b) & (c) Does not arise in view of the reply given to part (a) above.
