(a) whether the Railways is considering to introduce a Duronto Express from Amaravati, the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh to New Delhi via Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Raipur and Nagpur; and
(b) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b): At present, there is no proposal to introduce a new Duronto Express between Amaravati and New Delhi via Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Raipur and Nagpur due to operational and resource constraints. However, introduction of new trains is an ongoing process over Indian Railways subject to traffic justification, operational feasibility, availability of resources, etc.
