Question : REQUEST FOR RAILWAY LAND FROM MAHARASHTRA

(a) whether the Railways have received any proposal from the Government of Maharashtra for providing railway land under Central Railway to the National Textile Corporation Limited for Greenfield projects or for any other purposes;

(b) if so, the details and the present status thereof; and

(c) the time by which this proposal is likely to be approved?

(a) to (c): Railway land measuring 7.73 acres has already been leased for 35 years to National Textile Corporation (NTC) and possession of land was taken over by NTC on 20.12.2012.
