(a) whether the six-laning of the NH-2 at district Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh has been completed within the stipulated time;
(b) if so, whether crossings, foot over bridges etc. have also been constructed simultaneously during lane conversion for the convenience of local people;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) The work of six laning of NH-2 at Chandauli District is covered under the project of six laning of NH 2 from Varanasi to Aurangabad. The work has been awarded and is in progress.
(b) & (c) Yes, Madam. Following facilities have been proposed in the six laning project for the convenience of local people :-
i)Â Vehicular underpass (15 Nos.) at km 806.000, 808.810, 810.425, 813.100, 818.050, 819.228, 820.616, 821.501, 824.800, 825.865, 827.400, 829, 832.175, 836.982, 840.600
ii) Flyover : at km 815.050 (1 No.)
iii)Â Pedestrian underpass (15 Nos.) at km 808.685, 810.300, 812.975,817.925, 819.155, 820.491, 821.376, 822.325, 824.675, 825.740, 830.085, 832.000, 834.095, 836.857, 840.475
(d) Does not arise.
