(a) whether the Government has received any proposal/or proposes to establish AIIMS in Nanded;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor particularly keeping in view the non-availability of any AIIMS like hospitalin the region??

(a) to (c) The Government has plans to set up AIIMS in each State in a phased manner. As far as Maharashtra is concerned, setting up of an AIIMS at Nagpur has already been approved. No proposal for setting up of an AIIMS at Nanded, has been received from the State Government of Maharashtra
