(a) whether the Government has announced any target regarding housing for all by the year 2022 under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) in the country, State-wise particularly in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and West Bengal and if so, the details thereof;
(b) the details of total funds allocated and spent under the yojana so far, year-wise; and
(c) the number of beneficiaries belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), under the Yojana, State-wise including aforesaid States?

(a): Land and Colonisation are State subjects. However, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) is supplementing the efforts of States/ Union Territories through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban (PMAY-U) since 2015 to provide all weather pucca houses with all basic amenities for all eligible families/ beneficiaries. There are no yearly fixed targets under the Scheme. Based on the project proposals submitted by States/ Union Territories (UTs), more than 115 lakh houses have been sanctioned across the country under PMAY-U, out of which more than 95 lakh have been grounded and more than 56 lakh have been completed/ delivered to the beneficiaries so far. The State/ UT-wise details of houses sanctioned including in the States of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and West Bengal are at Annexure-I.
(b): Under PMAY-U, for construction of 1.15 crore houses, ? 1.89 lakh crore has been sanctioned, of which ?1.12 lakh crore has been released and an amount of ?1.03 lakh crore has been utilised so far. The year wise details of funds sanctioned, released and utilised is as under:
