Question : CASES WITH ARBITRATION .



(a) whether a number of arbitration cases involving Government servants of different categories are pending for settlement;

(b) if so, the details thereof alongwith their duration of pendancy and the reasons therefor;and

(c) the number of cases pending with the Govenment, earlier decided by the Arbitration Board, alongwith the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b) : No, Sir. As per the relevant records maintained in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions,19 arbitration cases are pending. Out of this, 3 Arbitration cases are pending with the Board of Arbitration, as per enclosed Statement.

(c) : A total of 16 arbitration cases, besides above referred 3 cases, are pending with the Government for final decision regarding their implementation/ rejection which are in process at various stages with the various Ministries/Departments.
