(a) whether the Union Government has received any proposal from the State Government of Telangana for acquisition of forest land for construction of ‘International medicine city-Oushad Nagari’ in Hyderabad;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which the said proposal is likely to be cleared?

(a)The Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change has not received any proposal from the State Government of Telangana seeking prior approval of the Central Government under the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 for diversion of forest land for acquisition of forest land for construction of ‘International medicine city-Oushad Nagari’ in Hyderabad.
(b) & (c)In view of the (a) above question does not arise.
