(a) whether the Government has formulated any scheme for construction of
small
dams on the rivers in each of the States for generation of electricity
in order to deal with
the power crisis in rural areas;
(b) if so, the names of the rivers in Uttar Pradesh identified under the said scheme
along with their location; and
(c) the time by which it is likely to be implemented?
