(a) whether the State Government of Telangana has requested his Ministry for improvement and renovation of the airports in the State;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Ministry has taken any decision on the matter and chalked out any action plan for development of airports in State of Telangana and if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the quantum of funds earmarked for the development of airports and the funds released so far?

Statement in reply to parts (a) to (d) of the Starred (*) Question No. 95 for answer on 21.12.2017 regarding ''Renovation of airports''.; ; (a) to (d) : No, Madam. No such specific proposal for improvement and renovation of existing airports has been received from the Government of Telangana. However, Government of India has granted ''site clearance'' to M/s. Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited (TSIICL) for establishment of a new Greenfield Airport at Kothagudem, District Khammam, Telangana.
