(a) to (f ) The D.P.E.P. is periodically reviewed by the Government of India and the external funding agencies through a mechanism of Joint Review Missions. The latest review was conducted in May, 2005. These reviews have brought out that the programme has resulted in significant increase in enrolment, improvement in learning levels and increased community involvement.

The details of funds allocated, released and spent on this programme during each of the last three years and till date is at Annexure-I, State-wise. The total expenditure on appointment of teachers under the District Primary Education Programme, State-wise is at Annexure II.

Ongoing DPEP programmes will complete their project outlays as per their project periods.
