(a) whether the construction of DD Transmission Centre in Allahabad has been
completed;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the time by which it is likely to be commissioned; and
(d) the programmes likely to be telecast through this transmission centre?

(a)&(b): A High Power Transmitter is functioning at Allahabad since 1983. However, a
TV studio project has been completed and is technically ready for commissioning.
(c): The studio would be commissioned as soon as the requisite staff is in position
Prasar Bharati has already initiated necessary action in this regard.
(d): All types of indoor programmes can be produced in this studio.
