(a) whether the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had issued
directives to all the schools under the national curriculum framework for
school education to prescribe only NCERT books as per the syllabus prescribed
by the board;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government is aware that some school managers and private
publishers have been violating the said directives and publishing books on NCERT
pattern and selling those books to the students at higher price;
(d) if so, the details thereof and the reaction of the Government thereto; and
(e) the corrective measures taken/being taken by the Government in this regard?
