Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF THE STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE (SMT. PANABAKA LAKSHMI)

(a) to (f): Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre as a part of AIIMS is functioning in Delhi. The centre has been receiving uninterrupted supply of essential surgical items and the seriously injured patients are receiving satisfactory patient care service in this trauma centre. As regards other Central Government hospitals in Delhi, while trauma care facilities are available in the emergency/casuality Departments of these hospitals, there is no functional full-fledged trauma centre as such in these hospitals. There is no shortage of essential surgical items in the Central Government hospitals in Delhi.
