(a) to (c) Total land required for widening of stretch of NH-47 and NH-47B for a
length of 70.36 km in Tamil Nadu is about 426 Hectares (Ha) involving 25 villages.
3 D Notification in respect of 375 Ha has been published. The funds required towards
compensation for land acquisition are released by NHAI as and when awards are passed
by Competent Authority for Land Acquisition (CALA) and there is neither paucity of
funds nor delay in release of funds.
