(a) the number of Population Education Resource Centres and Population Education Clubs instituted in universities and colleges;
(b) whether there is any proposal to introduce such centers
in Uttkal University, Bhuvnesear; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and the time by which these
are likely to be introduced ?

(a): According to the information furnished by UGC, 17
Population Education Research Centres (PERCs) have been
established in Universities, and 1400 Population Education
Clubs (PECs) in Colleges.
(b) & (c) : A PERC was established in Utkal University in 1996.
