(a) & (b): The Technology Mission on Cotton was launched in February, 2000 for improving productivity and quality of cotton along with modernization of marketing infrastructure and ginning and pressing factories. The Mission was completed in December, 2010. The feasibility of initiating another Technology Mission on Cotton is under examination.
