(a) whether the Government has received proposals for grant of environmental clearance to Handri-Niva Sujala Sravanthi Water Project in Rayalaseema Region of Andhra Pradesh;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which clearance would be given to enable the State to complete the project?

(a)to (c) Handri Neeva Sujala Shravanti Lift Irrigation Project of Andhra Pradesh Government for providing a targeted irrigation facility to 2,438 hectares of land along with 11.05 cumecs of drinking water supply to the four Districts of Rayalaseema region namely; Kurnool, Anantapur, Kadapa and Chittoor was received in February, 2006. The project was appraised and granted environmental clearance in May, 2006.
