(a) whether the Government is making efforts for the development of clean energy infrastructure in Uttarakhand and Bundelkhand;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government proposes to set up a mega solar power plant on the barren/infertile land lying idle in Uttarakhand and along the Yamuna and other rivers in Bundelkhand; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?
(a)to(d) Ministry of New and Renewable Energy(MNRE) is implementing various programmes / schemes for the development of renewable energy in the country, including in the State of Uttarakhand and the Bundelkhand region.
MNRE has approved the following solar parks in the Bundelkhand region under the scheme “Development of Solar Parks and Ultra Mega Solar Power Projects”.
