(a) the total number of industrial growth centres functioning in the country particularly in Kerala and Haryana, district-wise;
(b) the functioning of these industrial growth centres;
(c) whether the Government propose to set up more such Industrial Growth Centres in the country; and

(a)&(b): Out of the 71 Growth Centres planned throughout the country, 68 have been sanctioned by the Government of India for implementation by the State Government. 26 of the sanctioned Growth Centres have begun
functioning as allotment of industrial plots has commenced. These include the Growth Centres at Kannur - Kozhikode (District Kannur - Kozhikode) in Kerala and Bawal (District Rewari) in Haryana.
