(a) whether the Government have received any requests from those suppliers,
employees and their associations whose payments are pending owing to the proposed
decision to close the Super Bazar;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which and the manner in which the outstanding payments are likely to be made?

(a) to (c): The Super Bazar is a Cooperative Society registered under Multi
State Cooperative Societies Act, 1984. The requests of Suppliers, employees and
their associations, whenever received, have been forwarded to Super Bazar for
necessary action. Super Bazar have informed that at present Super Bazar is facing
acute financial crisis and the payment to Suppliers will be made as and when its
financial position improves.
