(a) This Ministry is primarily responsible for development and maintenance of National Highways in the country. So far as the development of National Highways is concerned, no such projects as “Inter-State Projects” are sanctioned/approved by this Ministry. However, as regards project sanctioned for improvement of State roads, under Inter-State Connectivity (ISC) Scheme under erstwhile Central Road Fund (CRF) Scheme, no such project is lying incomplete at present in the State of Telangana.
