(a) whether tripartite talks between India, Russia and China were held in New York on the sidelines of U.N. General Assembly meeting;

(a) to (d) An informal luncheon meeting between the Foreign Ministers of India, Russia and China took place on September 14, 2002 in New York.

The meeting did not have any agenda. The three Foreign Ministers exchanged views on the topical issues on the agenda of the 57th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. It was agreed to continue contacts in this format.
