(a) whether there is any plan for expansion of Tiruchirapalli BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited) in Tamil Nadu;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the number of people likely to be employed in the expansion plan; and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a): There is no investment proposal under consideration at present in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) in respect of expansion at its manufacturing plant/unit located at Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu.
(b) & (c): Not Applicable in view of (a) above.
(d): The manpower and other infrastructure facilities currently available at the manufacturing plant/unit of BHEL located at Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, are adequate with its scale of operations and product profile.
