(a) & (b) The Prime Ministers of India and Singapore, during the Indian Prime Minister`s visit to Singapore in April, 2002, decided to set up a Joint Study Group (JSG) to study the scope, content and structure of a bilateral Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA). The JSG is headed, on the Indian side, by Dr. Rakesh Mohan, Deputy Governor, RBI, and is to submit its report to the two Prime Ministers within one year.
