(a) to (c)Yes, Madam. Government has received proposals from State Governments / UT Administrations for inclusion of communities as STs. A statement in this regard is annexed. Government had laid down modalities for inclusion in and exclusion of communities / groups to the list of STs in a State, in the year 1999, amended in the year 2002. Proposal has been processed as per extant modality.
No proposal has been received as per extant modality to exclude any community from the list of STs from State Government.
(d) Does not arise in view of above.
