(a)to (d):Yes, Madam. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has notified UGC
(Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in
Universities and Colleges and other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in
Higher Education) Regulations, 2018, in the Gazette of India on 18.07.2018. These
Regulations are issued for minimum qualifications for appointment and other service
conditions of University andCollege teachers, Librarians, Directors of Physical
Education and Sports and for maintenance of standards inhigher education. The
Regulations provides newsimplified assessment criteria and methodology for
performance evaluation of teachers, which includes research score for Universities
to improve research output and is more teaching oriented for Colleges.The
