(a) & (b) Government is committed to the overall objective
of its policy of providing health care services to all with
a focus on providing comprehensive primary health care.
However, health care being a State subject, State
Governments are free to involve private sector in the
development of their health care infrastructure.
(c) & (d) Growing number of private hospitals indicates that
private sector is keen to set up hospitals in the country.
