(a) Under National Leprosy Eradication Programme, the States are requested to submit annual
action plan proposals for carrying out NLEP activities. These proposals are examined by Central
Leprosy Division and sufficient funds are provided to the States to carryout action plan
activities as per Programme Implementation Plan (PIP) norms.
(b) None of the State Governments have sought additional funds from the Union Government.
