Question : Construction of Road Over Bridge on NHs

(a) Whether the Government proposes to construct Road Over Bridge (ROB) at railway crossing on National Highways (NHs);

(b) If so, the locations in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh where ROBs are proposed to be constructed;

(c) Whether the Government proposes to construct ROB at places like Jukehi, Khamriya to Karaudiya, Tighra, Bharauli, Ghunwara, Amdara, Kariya Pani Maihar, Barhi, Jeetnagar, Gobrao, Sagma, Jaitwara, Khutaha, Majhgawa in Jabalpur-Prayagraj railway line and Turki, Jamuna, Bamhauri Prism Cement, Kaima in Rewa-Satna railway line which face issues of traffic jams due to railway crossing on roads: and

(d) If so, the details thereof?

(a) Yes, Sir.

(b) Two nos. of RoBs are under construction on National Highways in Satna District of Madhya Pradesh i.e. at km 162.013 of NH -39 and at km 105.290 of NH-135BG.

(c) & (d) The proposed RoBs are not on National Highways. Ministry of Road Transport & Highways is primarily responsible for development and maintenance of National Highways.
