(a) whether the Pharma Companies sought Government help to end trade margin row;
(b) If so, the details thereof and the action taken thereon so far;
(c) whether the Government has asked Russia to ease pharma regulatory policy; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the response received therefrom?

(a) and (b): Yes, Madam. After the announcement of Drugs (Price Control) Order (DPCOJ-2013, the Department received certain representations in the matter from various quarters including Chemists and Druggists Association. The Department held several meetings with the stakeholders to resolve the issue.
(c) and (d): Information is being collected and will be laid on the table of the House.
