(a) whether the Government proposes to implement ‘plug and play’ system by giving all required sanctions to set up chemical industries so as to encourage growth of this industry in the country; and
(b) if so, the details thereof and the steps being taken in this regard and if not, the time by which such a system will be implemented in the country?

(a) to (b) The concept of ‘plug and play’ model is visualized as a part of creation of Infrastructure facilities under Draft ‘National Chemical Policy’ for the growth and development of chemical industry. The Draft ‘National Chemical Policy’ is still under examination by the concerned Ministries/ Departments. ‘Plug and Play’ system will also require concurrence by the concerned state government.
