Question : PROVISION IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT COURSES



(a) whether training for cooking the non-vegetarian food is mandatory in curriculum of Hotel Management Course;

(b) whether it is mandatory for the vegetarian students to cook non-vegetarian food items against their will;

(c) if so, whether the Government is considering any suggestions regarding making provisions to cook only vegetarian food by vegetarian students during the training; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d): Students are admitted to a degree course specific to a common curriculum which includes pre- paration of vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine. All admitted students follow the common curriculum aimed at achieving expertise in the chosen field.
