(a) whether the Government has formulated the National
Eco-Tourism Policy and the guidelines thereon;
(b) if so,the salient features thereof;
(c) whether the Union Government has issued any instructions
to the State Governments for the implementation of these guidelines;and
(d) if so,the details in this regard?

(a),(b),(c) & (d): Eco-tourism policy and guidelines have already been
laid down and circulated to the State Governments/UT Administrations by
the Ministry of Tourism. The objective is to preserve,retain and enrich
natural resources and to ensure regulated growth of Eco-tourism with its
positive impact on environmental protection and community development
