(a) the total sanctioned strength of the primary junior and inter-college teachers in Uttar Pradesh;
(b) the number of posts that have been lying vacant among these posts; and
(c) the steps proposed to be taken by the Government for filling up these posts?

(a) to (c) : The State Government of Uttar Pradesh has informed that the total sanctioned strength of teachers in Junior Basic Schools (1st to 5th class) and Senior Basic Schools (6th to 8th class) run by Basic Education Board, Prayagraj is 5,80,084, out of which 4,53,594 teachers are working. In consecutive teachers recruitments from 2017, 1,20,554 teachers are recruited. The sanctioned strength of teachers in Government Secondary schools is 27,022, out of which 11,518 are lying vacant. Recruitment of 6,628 Secondary Teachers was completed during last 6 months.
