Answer given by the minister

ANSWER
THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND
FAMILY WELFARE
(SHRI ASHWINI KUMAR CHOUBEY)
(a): Public health and hospital being a State subject, the administrative and personnel matters pertaining to health human resource (Health HR) fall within the jurisdiction of the respective State/UT Governments, including creation of special cadre of AYUSH practitioners and para-medics for village postings, if any. Hence, Government of India does not directly create cadres for AYUSH practitioners and para medics for village postings in the States.

(b) & (c): Does not arise in view of reply to (a) above.

(d): As stated in (a) above, Public health and hospital being a State subject, Government of India does not directly post AYUSH practitioners in villages in the States as this subject falls within the jurisdiction of the respective State Governments.
