Question : Houses under PMAY-U in Andhra Pradesh

(a) the number of houses sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban (PMAY-U) for the State of Andhra Pradesh, year- wise;

(b) the details of the number of houses built along with the start and the end dates of completion of ongoing construction projects under this yojana, year wise;

(c) the area of land that needs to be acquired in order to complete building of houses under this yojana along with the details of the land that has already been acquired by the Government;

(d) whether re-tendering has been done by the State Government for projects under PMAY since 2019-2020; and

(e) if so, the value of the projects delayed by this re-tendering along with the details of the number of houses built under the new tender?

(a)& (b): Year-wise details of houses sanctioned, completed/ built along with houses presently under construction under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban [PMAY-U] in the State of Andhra Pradesh are Annexed.

(c): As reported by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh, land measuring 826.20 acres has been purchased by the State to provide houses to identified beneficiaries of the State under PMAY-U.

(d) & (e): Yes sir; as reported by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh, 54,056 houses were taken up after re-tendering with project cost of Rs. 2,996.50 crore, of which nearly 23,000 houses have been completed.
