(a) whether any transfer policy has been formulated by the Railways for Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ cadre officers including railway doctors;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether there are many such officers in the West Central Railways who are posted in the same station or division for more than five or ten years; and
(d) if so, the details of such officers?

(a) to (d): A Comprehensive Transfer Policy for Railway Officers including Railway Doctors has been formulated and issued on 31.08.2015, which, inter-alia, lays down a general policy framework, including the guidelines with regard to transfers under administrative ground, spouse ground, care givers of disabled children etc. It also prescribes minimum and maximum tenures of officers at a post or place. In West Central Railway, there are certain officers who have been staying in the same station beyond the stipulated time frame, due to administrative or other reasons.
