Question : COMPENSATION OF LAND

 

(a) whether compensation has not been given to all the farmers so far, for the land acquired for the Solapur-Hyderabad National Highways, if so, the details thereof;

(b) whether less amount of compensation is being given to some of the farmers as compared to other States, if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor indicating the reaction of the Government thereto; and

(c) the time by which full compensation is likely to be given to all the farmers in this regard?

MINISTER OF STATE FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT (SHRI SUDARSHAN BHAGAT)  

(a) to (c) : As per information received from National Highways Authority of India, Solapur-Hyderabad section of National Highway-9 (new NH-65) is divided into two packages:

(i) Solapur to MH/KNT Border section and

(ii) MH/KNT Border to Sangareddy section  

The details are as under:  
Competent Authority of Land acquisition (CALA) for the project Deputy Collector land acquisition Manjara Project Osmanabad has declared award for 243.79 hectare out of 268.57 hectare and accordingly Project director PIU Solapur office has deposited an amount of Rs. 104.95 crore with CALA. So far, CALA has disbursed Rs.75.39 crore. MH/KNT Border to Sangareddy section of NH-09 (new NH-65) from KM. 348.800 to KM. 423.000 in the state of Karnataka and 423.000 to KM. 493.000 in the state of Telangana. Compensation has been paid to all those land losers/farmers whose proper records of rights are available for the land acquired. Payment of compensation is pending whose records of rights are not available, dispute among the joint owners and other civil courts. Out of Rs. 84.87 crores, Rs.46.92 crore has been disbursed. The compensation is fixed on the basis of section 3G sub-section (7) (a) of National Highways Act, 1956 and compensation of all non-disputed land has been paid.
