(a) Yes, Sir.

(b) The Reproductive and Child Health programme (Phase II) is being implemented with foreign assistance as a part of the overall National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) in all the States/UTs of the country including the state of Maharashtra. The Programme aims to reduce total Fertility Rate (TFR), Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) and Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) by providing better health care to infants and pregnant women.The external assistance for the programme is being received centrally. However,some state specific programmes are also being implemented with external assistance in different states,details are given in Annex I.

(c) The state wise and year wise allocation of funds under RCH Programme (Phase II) during the last three years are given in Annex II.
