(a) whether the total emoluments per month of a Probationary Officer in a Public Sector Bank in the 1980s was almost
equal to the total emoluments per month of a new entrant into the Civil Services through the Civil Services examination;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether at present, the total emoluments per month of a direct recruit Probationary Officer in a Bank is much less than that of the total emoluments per month of a new entrant into the Civil Services through the Civil Services examination in Class-1 Service;
(d) if so, the reasons therefor;
(e) whether the Government proposes to bring the total pay of Probationary Officers per month equal to
the direct recruit Class-I officers of the Government of India in all respects, to attract talent;
(f) if so, the details thereof and
(g) if not, the reasons therore?
