(a) whether the Government is aware of corruption rampant in Tatkal scheme;
(b) if so, whether any railway officials has been found to be involved in this illegal practice;
(c) if so, the action taken against them; and
(d) the remedial measures taken by the Government to curb such practice ?

(a): (b) & (c) : No report of rampant corruption in revised Tatkal Scheme has come to
notice. However,one railway official has been found indulging in securing reservation
through Tatkal Scheme unauthorisedly and necessary action has been initiated against him.
(d) Checks are conducted from time to time to apprehend the staff indulging in
malpractices in reservation including Tatkal Reservation Scheme.
