(a) whether the Government is aware that sleeper cells of various terrorists groups are actively functioning in various States in the country;
(b) if so, the details of such sleeper cells, State-wise;
(c) the steps being taken to study the funding of such cells; and
(d) the measures taken by these Government to neutralise these cells and check their funding?

(a) to (d): There are no available intelligence inputs on the existence of terrorist sleeper cells in various States in the country. As and when such intelligence is received, it is immediately shared with the States concerned. There is close and effective coordination between intelligence and security agencies at the Centre and the State levels to detect and neutralise such cells.
