(a) whether mass cheating has been noticed in Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination conducted by the SSC and the leakage of question paper has also come to the knowledge of the Government;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the candidates who have taken the examination have protested against the alleged scam in SSC exams and demanded CBI probe in the matter; and
(d) if so, the Government’s reaction in the matter?

(a) & (b): No Madam.
(c) & (d): A group of candidates of Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination, 2017 had protested, alleging cheating and leakage of some Answer Keys of the said examination and had demanded a CBI probe in the matter.
With the aim to reaffirm the faith of candidates in examination process of Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the Government on the recommendation of SSC has requested CBI to enquire into the allegations.
