(a) whether there is any proposal for review of the existing core network of rural roads under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY);
(b) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the progress of roads constructed under PMGSY in respect of the North Eastern States, particularly in Manipur is satisfactory and if so, the details thereof; and
(d) if not, the remedial measures taken/ proposed in this regard?

(a) &(b): Core Network under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) has been prepared mainly to identify the eligible unconnected habitations to be taken up under the Scheme in the rural areas. As per the Core Network, out of 1, 78,184, eligible unconnected habitations, 1, 64,547 habitations have been sanctioned by the Ministry (till 30th November, 2017) under PMGSY. Under accelerated Action Plan, the Ministry has set a target to achieve 100% connectivity of eligible habitations by March, 2019.
(c) & (d): The progress of roads works constructed under PMGSY for the last 3 years and during current year in respect of the North Eastern States including Manipur is given below:-
