THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (SHRI DIGVIJAY SINGH)

(a) to (d): No, Sir. The project requires the appraisal by the Planning Commission, recommendation of the Expanded Board of Railways and finally the approval of the Government. During the meeting of the Expanded Board of Railways, the Planning Commission had asked for additional information which will be supplied to them. This project will, then, be appraised by the Planning Commission, considered by the expanded Board of Railways and will be put up to the Government thereafter for approval. Time by which the clearances will be obtained will depend upon the completion of the above mentioned process.
