(a) to (c): Sir, the Trade Related Entrepreneurship Assistance Development (TREAD) Programme being implemented by the Ministry of Small Scale Industries seeks to economically empower women in rural, urban and semi-urban areas through the development of their entrepreneurial skill by eliminating constraints faced by women, and to strengthen trade support networks. The scheme includes assistance in the form of loans, grants, trade related training, trade information, counselling, and extension activities relating to product and market development.
